Do you do steam cleaning or dry?

We offer both the traditional 'steam cleaning' or Hot Water Extraction as it's technically called. However, we feel that HWE cleaning does a far superior job on most residential carpets and the low moisture encapsulation cleaning system often performs better on commercial carpets. There are exceptions to the rule, acklowedging that some clients will have particular needs or requests. Please ask our staff if you have any questions or concerns.

Do I have to pay at the time of the appointment?

Yes. Unless you have made a prior arrangement that we have agreed to. If choosing to pay via internet banking, the funds must be cleared in our account before we do the work.

What payment methods to you accept?

We carry mobile eftpos on the vehicles. EFTPOS transactions and cash payments are preferred, but if you do have to use credit cards, we charge a fee to do so. We issue a receipt for all payments received. Tax invoices are then emailed out if possible.

How much furniture will you shift?

We request that you move the smaller items out of the way if possible. These include magazine racks, pot plants, nic naks etc. We are more than happy to move larger items around where practical but heavy, delicate or compromised furniture will not be shifted. If the carpet cannot dry effectively under a piece of furniture, generally it will be left in place.

How long will it take for my carpet to dry?

This depends mostly on factors beyond our control. Summer verse winter. Generally, in the summer in a well ventilated property, 2-4 hours should see your carpet touch dry. During the winter, that can be half a day or more. Factors that control this are time of day, if the home can be ventilated or if you close it up. If it's a synthetic carpet or heavy wool fibre. Please be proactive after our visit by ventilating well, of using heat to speed up the drying process.
